Exactly how long this will take is hard to say but we would like to say a week to be on the safe side and be sure that everything is in order before throwing the server back up. The Minecraft server and TeamSpeak will not be available during this time.

There is no way to get any Quartz but we will be fixing that soon. Until RPG-NPC is updated there will be no NPCs. The texture packs also need to be updated.

Not everyone has seen the origins of Dewcraft. Stating in the early Alpha stages of Minecraft this map served as the home for our community for much of the servers life. It was retired as the world generation continued to change and terrain became more and more mismatched. Nostalgia has gotten the better of us however, and we will be reopening Dewtropolis to visitors ahead of Palecraft's event. Players are free to use it to get an idea of where things are and how things have changed. And for our VIP+ members you will be able to build and play freely as before.

To visit Dewtropolis use the command /visit dewtropolis or use the warp pad labeled OLD in the Biodome spawn.

It’s been hundreds of years since life and civilization thrived in Dewtropolis. What was once a peaceful building community has fallen into ruin, at the hands of some unknown natural disaster. The land is barren, resources are scarce, and livestock is all but nonexistent. You must quickly come to terms with the loss of a land you once loved. It’s time to move. Try your best to escape this flooded facility, because life is another scare resource. Every death leaves you waking up in a strange unknown part of this barren hellscape. With no map or materials, will you be able to find your way back to your remains? Is it really worth it, knowing that with every death you’re one step closer to leaving this world for all eternity? After all, the only way to gain more lives is by killing your fellow man... Will you scavenge the chests of the mainland, or go it alone in the wilderness? Will you help rebuild this once thriving empire, or hoard all you can? How long can you survive after the Dewpocalypse?

The server will be down for a day or two as we work on optimization of the server. This is a long time coming to reduce server load+cost and expand our game base beyond just Minecraft. Namely several of us play TF2 and we are going to host a pub or two.

Once everything is back up please report any issues or concerns that may arise.

A small event will be held for 24 hours starting at 10pm central std time.  This event will require you to travel to the PVP spawn to receive 1 firework to shoot off at your own leisure.  VIPs will receive 5 fireworks + 3 fireworks for every $1 donated towards this previous server payment.

For every $5 donated, 30 days of VIP will be added to your account.

And here's a bit of server news. I'm sure you're all wondering when we will update. I've been watching the plugins and we should be able to shortly after Christmas. Maybe not the next day, but as soon as we reasonably can.

Be sure to keep checking that map, the Nomad told me he would mark the more "interesting" places as he finds them.

-[VIP]s will get early access on Saturday to begin their journey ahead of everyone else for 24 hours.

-[Player]s will be able to access on Sunday for the public opening of Dewcraft PvP.

-Contests and events will be shown on the Events tab at the top of the page (check often for updates).

-The all new Dewcraft Shop will be the new way of donating to get the [VIP] rank (will open  with PvP).

-Read over the FAQ to answer any common questions.

-The only real "safe zone" is at the PvP spawn.

-Use /spawn to leave the PvP world. (There is a 2 minute cooldown for obvious reasons)

-No one can see your chat unless they are in a close enough proximity.

-There is no "virtual currency".  Or rather, what you collect and gather is your currency.

-Faction tags are disabled (more fun this way). 

-It is impossible to be neutral/peaceful in terms of violence.

-Enchantments have a handicap to prevent someone from being too overpowered.

-Certain splash potions have been disabled for the same reason /\.

-PvP has its own separate inventory.

-We still expect respect among players, but violence doesn't need to reflect this.

-You need 4 people in your faction to begin claiming land.

Server voting will be up within the first week of opening and yes it will have rewards.

It is estimated that it will be back up at 12:00am midnight central time.

1. Login to Dewcraft on Mincraft and use /dynmap webregister
2. Go to the dynmap page by clicking on the picture on the right hand side of the page.
3. Copy the webregister code to the web page and fill the rest out with your minecraft username and any password of your choice

Throw some comments down if you have any troubles or if you like donuts more than spoons.

Expect more changes to be happening and fast!  Keep checking back on this website for more updated news on the server status.  You never know when something BIG might happen...
